Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards

This online training course explains what needs to be done before a deprivation of liberty can be authorised. It is designed for the use of any person who cares for someone who may lack the mental capacity to make decisions for themselves.
The course aims to help the user understand the importance of keeping records in relation to DoLS, what deprivation of liberty means and who it affects, and both types of authorisation procedures.
